GAS PLANT AND FACILITIES DATABASE
Access to the most accurate, current and comprehensive gas processing information available is critical when planning your next well tie-in or gas processing requirement. GDM has compiled information from all government sources and most importantly, directly from gas plant processors for all active gas plants in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Plant locations and boundaries are constructed and verified using digital imagery in order to provide precision mapping and connectivity to wells, pipelines and roads. GDM’s data precision and content richness ensures this data is ready to assist you in your production optimization operations:
- Spare Capacity Analysis
- Utilization Analysis
- Exploration Planning
- Pipeline and Proximity Planning
- Asset Management
- Field operations, repairs and maintenance
About the Information
GDM’s gas plant team is engaged year round to ensure the most timely and accurate plant information. Ongoing personal contacts, including field office and gas plant visits, allow the operators to continually verify, correct, or add information about their own facilities. Gas plant production, as reported by the producers, is updated monthly. Complete descriptions are provided on all gas plants in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan including a number of key attributes:
- Name and Location
- Key Contact Personnel
- Activity Status
- Licensed Capacities
- As-built Capacities
- Current and Historical Production
- Compression Types
- Processes Used
- Location Directions
- Construction Year and recent modifications
With our extensive GIS and data management expertise we have integrated or “connected” our gas plants database with our other data products; base Facilities, pipelines and roads. Connectivity to other third party databases (wells, survey grid) has also been performed.
