GDM’s Pipeline and Facilities Database is the most widely used pipeline
and facility database in the Canadian oil and gas industry. The comprehensive
database has the highest data accuracy, quality and reliability, and is
easily accessible to users.

Data Content
- Pipeline graphics and attribute (PL100) data for provincially
and NEB regulated pipelines
- Location and attribute data for facilities such as gas
plants, batteries, compressors, meter stations, refineries and injection
stations
- Gas plant licensing information
- Historical Gas Plant gas and liquids production
- Historical battery production (AB only)
Data Sources
- Many ERCB data sources are used and integrated,
with increased accuracy provided by our own specialized processes and
the feedback from the hundreds of users of the data.
- Formal agreements with Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources
and the Information Services Corporation of Saskatchewan give access
to all historical and future pipeline and facilities data within their
jurisdiction.
- The British Columbia Oil and Gas Commission provide
full access to their records for compilation of the database.
- Manitoba Petroleum Branch provide full access to their
data
- Records are obtained from the NEB.
- Operators directly supply data for non-permitted lines,
as they see significant advantages in this data being available to themselves,
and others, in an easily accessible digital form.
The database is updated monthly by GDM.
