GDM was formed in 1997 to provide database and geodetic consulting services to the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry. Since then, the company and its reputation have continued to grow as a result of innovative leadership, strong strategic and technology partnerships, and a dedication to earn the trust of clients who use GDM products and services.

Our flagship product is the GDM Pipeline and Facilities Database which is used by the majority of Canadian oil and gas companies, service companies, survey operations and government organizations.

We recently released the GDM Transportation Infrastructure Database which contains the most comprehensive road information available for Western Canada.

We offer a GIS Services department for GIS pipeline and database needs. Our GIS Services department can fill all requirements including contract GIS services work, consulting services and project based work.

GDM also provides custom database work and supplies geodetic consulting services to domestic and international operators. We have performed the NAD27 to NAD83 datum conversion project for the Canadian East Coast offshore oil and gas operators and continue to consult on these and similar datum issues throughout Canada and the world.
